Weather Data Economy, AI & DePIN

Node Design and Centralized Operation and Maintenance Model

1. Node Types

• WN (Weather Node): This node is responsible for basic observations. • WG (Weather Gateway): This node performs aggregation, relay, and transmission stabilization. • VV (Verification/Validator Node): This node participates in data verification and quality score calculation, with a software-centric approach. • AE (AI Edge Node): Performs edge analysis, compression, and basic forecasting using an advanced model. *The actual lineup and specifications may expand based on phased rollout and regional environments.

2. Scope of Centralized Managed O&M

WELLBIAN LABS performs the following as standard operating procedures: • Installation standards (height, shielding, consideration of surrounding obstacles, waterproofing/dustproofing, etc.) • Regular inspections and calibration (adjustment) • Fault response (SLA), component replacement cycle management • Firmware/security updates (signature-based OTA) • Operational history logging (installation/calibration/replacement/updates)

3. The Importance of Centralized Outsourced Operation

Weather data is a reliable asset that can serve as the foundation for future insurance, derivatives, and settlement contracts. Therefore, the quality of operations directly influences data credibility, and securing this through standardized operations and maintenance is a core design principle of WELLBIAN.

4. Contract Structure

• Foundation - Labs: Operation/Development Service Contract (SLA, Operational KPIs, Cost/Performance Metrics) • Labs - Node Owners: Installation·Operation Entrustment Contract (Scope of Operation, Reward Distribution, Maintenance Conditions) • Protocol - Validators/Oracles: Settlement Participation Rules (Staking, Slashing, Auditing)
